Soto del Real to Manzanares el Real along the Camino de Mendocino.
We start from the church of La Inmaculada Concepción in the direction of the park of ash trees and take the Avenida de España. This avenue goes around the Fresneda (be careful because after about 200 metres, this avenue makes a 90 degree turn to the right). After a few metres, turn right onto a dirt track. The path, which is about 500 metres long, takes us to the Segoviana ravine, where we turn left. After walking some 600 metres, we come to a crossroads, but we continue straight on. Cross the Mediano stream (there is currently no bridge) and continue a few metres to another crossroads. We turn right. This path goes round the Dehesa Boyal, which will always remain on our left. In the first stretch, some houses will be on the right. After 2 km we reach a crossroads. Take the one on the left and, after another 2 km, you will be on the M-608 road. Cross the road and take a path on the right that runs between the Santillana reservoir and the aforementioned road. Manzanares remains in the background. The path ends at a heliport, next to the road. We are now in Manzanares el Real. We move forward and take a pavement, parallel to the road. The Guardia Civil barracks are on the left. We advance a few metres and turn left to get away from the danger of the road. In a few metres we turn right to the petrol station, which will be on our right. A few metres ahead there is a car park with a zebra crossing that will allow us to cross the M-608. On the opposite side of the road turn left and go up the Avenida de Madrid. The impressive castle of the Mendoza family will be on the right and, a few metres further on, you will come to the church of Nuestra Señora de la Nieves. If we continue along the main street and cross the stream, we join the road to Madrid.
