This is an easy 2.4 kilometre route that takes us from the vicinity of the Santillana Reservoir to the outskirts of Manzanares El Real. The route starts at the entrance to a private estate located on the Paseo del Embalse. From this point we take the road that borders the reservoir, until we reach the intersection with a local road. At this point, turn right and cross the bridge over the tail end of the Santillana Reservoir. Once we have passed this point, we head along a dirt track and then along a pavement to the outskirts of the municipality of Manzanares El Real. We reach the M608 regional road and cross it to take a pedestrian walkway that will take us to the bridge over the Manzanares River bridge, known as Puente Viejo or Puente de la Cañada Real, where our route ends. We will take a restricted road with ditches on both sides and side slopes in some areas. After reaching a parking area, we will join a local road along which we will continue on a shared route. After reaching a dirt track and a stretch of pavement, we cross the local road at a zebra crossing. We soon reach a pedestrian area and reach an old bridge that takes us to the end of the route.
