Cerceda to Moralzarzal.
This is a linear route of 4.4 kilometres in distance and low difficulty that connects the towns of Cerceda and Moralzarzal. The route starts in the vicinity of the Cerceda football pitch. From this point we continue along a stretch of road without pavement and downhill that will soon take us to the outskirts of the municipality. We reach a wooden bridge over the FuentidueƱa stream, which we cross to pass this point. Once we have passed this section, we turn right onto a dirt track with a good surface, which we will not leave for practically the entire route. During this stretch, we will pass through an area of pastureland. This is the predominant stretch until we reach the outskirts of Moralzarzal. The final section of the route will take us next to a small industrial area, where we will have to pass a dirt esplanade used as a parking area for vehicles. Once we have passed this esplanade we join the pavement of Calle Guadarrama, where we turn left to continue along this street which will take us directly to the end of the route next to the Moralzarzal Municipal Sports Centre. Although this is a simple route that can be done at any time of the year, it is recommended to avoid this itinerary on very hot summer days, as the route takes place in open, clear terrain with few shady areas and no water fountains at any point along the route. The route links the municipalities of Cerceda and Moralzarzal. It has three different areas. The first section of the route runs along a street without pavement and downhill, with few vehicles. It leads us to a path, along which we cross a river over a bridge with protection. Once you have crossed it, take an uphill path. The second half of the route is a wide forest track, with a good surface throughout. It is worth mentioning the unevenness in some places and the ditches. The crossings over Canadian crossings, with pedestrian side gates and the forks or incorporations of dirt tracks. The third and last section leads us to the end of the route. After leaving the forest tracks, we take a path that will lead us to a dirt esplanade used as a car park. Turn left and continue along a wide pavement until you reach the end of the route.
