Collado Mediano to Alpedrete
The route starts in the town's Plaza Mayor. After about 300 metres through the centre of the municipality and after passing the railway tracks, we take the path that will lead us to Alpedrete. During the first stretch of the route, you will walk along an easy dirt track. We cross the railway tracks again and ascend gently on a dirt track. The second section, which goes downhill until we reach our finishing point, passes through a more complicated area, where it is common to find rocky areas and complicated points to continue advancing. As we pass close to old stone quarries. This will cause us to cross large stone boats, with the danger that this entails. Once we have finished the second section, we enter the town of Alpedrete. We will have to cross several streets and an avenue until we reach the pedestrian area of the town centre. This is a linear route of about 4 kilometres in distance and of low difficulty. It is recommended all year round, but in summer it can get very hot. Water is necessary, as there are no fountains along the route. This is a linear route linking the municipalities of Collado Mediano and Alpedrete. It can be divided into 4 clearly distinguishable sections. The first section runs through the streets of Collado, for about 300m and always along pavements. This section ends with the crossing of the railway bridge and the change of road surface from asphalt to earth. The second section runs along dirt tracks, easy to walk on, with no points of note. The railway tracks are crossed again by a bridge with protection on both sides. The third section, probably the most complicated, alternates paths and tracks of decomposed and very stony earth, which even at some points of the section are very difficult to walk on. It should be added that this is a downhill section, which makes it very difficult. Finally, the fourth section, already in the municipality of Alpedrete, runs through the streets of the municipality, making it necessary to make crossings and crossings through the streets of the municipality, sharing the road with vehicles.
