Moralzarzal Bullring
The Moralzarzal Bullring celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025, a milestone that marks two decades of being the vibrant heart of our municipality. This building, unique in the Community of Madrid, is an economic engine, a cultural epicentre, a social nexus and a valuable component of our heritage.
It is an architectural jewel that fuses tradition and modernity. Its clean lines and geometric shapes are combined with classical elements such as the majestic granite Puerta Grande, creating an innovative design. With a capacity for 6,000 spectators and a built area of 12,000 square metres, including 19 commercial premises, it is a facility designed for versatility. It stands out for its spatial mesh roof with an "eyelid" type opening, which allows the space to be adapted to any event, protecting the attendees from the weather and guaranteeing comfort. Surrounded by a steel and glass pergola, and embellished with landscaped areas and centenary olive trees, every detail has been designed to enrich the visitor's experience.
These 20 years have consolidated the Plaza as a fundamental asset for Moralzarzal. Its economic impact is undeniable: restaurants, bars, shops and local service companies experience a significant increase in demand during each event. From the traditional bullfighting fairs, where the prestigious "Frascuelo de Plata" award is disputed, to rock and classical music concerts, sports championships, advertising recordings, fairs and Christmas celebrations, the Plaza has demonstrated its ability to boost our economy and position Moralzarzal as a tourist destination of reference.
Located in the heart of Moralzarzal, between the Bus Station and the Health Centre, its unbeatable location in a privileged natural environment, just 47 kilometres from Madrid and within the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares Regional Park, makes it an ideal starting point to enjoy the Sierra de Guadarrama.
